These sketches are for a picture book project I've been working on/writing for a few months now. I've put it on the back burner temporarily. In the meantime, I'll keep posting some of these rough drawings...

Below, are the main character, Preston, his Grammy, old weathered librarian and new cyborg librarian... and oh yah, a monkey (cuz libraries have monkey bars now!)

hey, i just tried to email you at your andy@andyjsmith... address and it bounced back - i actually think this has happened before. maybe that's why you didn't hear back from jeanne about the exhibit? your work is perfect for the show - do you mind if i drop her a line about it? it's odd that you didn't hear back from her...
ok - pardon my pushiness... I did check with her and she said she didn't get your submission. She said to try next time she has a call b/c she really likes your work. :)
